At Gower cottages we can offer you a wide variety of Self Catering Holiday Cottages on the beautiful Gower Peninsula. This hidden gem in South Wales is ideal for sandy beaches, rugged coastline, tranquil countryside and has a wealth of history and legend.

Choose from a fantastic range of pet friendly cottages to large family sized holiday home retreats with magnificent sea views.

Gower Cottages is operated by Home from Home, we have been established for over 25 years, and have a wealth of experience in self catering holidays on Gower and the surrounding area at your disposal.

We are situated in the heart of Mumbles, once a bustling fishing village known as ‘the gateway to Gower’. Mumbles has now become a cosmopolitan village with a wide array of restaurants/cafes, ice cream parlours, boutiques and if you enjoy walking, the wonderful promenade and cliff walks.

The Gower area really does appeal to everyone. It can cater for family beach holidays, walking breaks, golf breaks, there are several excellent golf courses in the area, including Pennard and Langland links courses that can both boast stunning views whatever the weather.

Gower is unique because it is still relatively untouched and relaxation and peace can still be easily obtained, but if you require more lively surroundings then the vibrant centre of Swansea is a short drive away.

Designated as Britain’s first area of outstanding natural beauty - the Gower area of South Wales has some of the most beautiful scenery you are ever likely to see. Just 18 miles long and less than 8 miles wide the area has nearly 400 miles of public rights of way, and 23 nature reserves. Gower offers a great variety of beaches and coves attracting surfers and watersports, nature enthusiasts through to the more relaxed dog walkers and sun worshippers on short, self catering holiday breaks.

The much photographed and publicised Rhossili Bay and Three Cliffs Bay are just two of the stunning locations that should be visited whilst you are here. Other beaches that should be visited are Oxwich Bay, Port Eynon, Langland Bay, Caswell Bay and Llangennith amongst others.

There are several castles and historic sites that can also be visited in between lunch stops at some of the local restaurants and traditional country pubs. The King Arthur in Reynoldston is set in a wonderful location and provides open fires and traditional food.

The Gower Peninsula really does have something for everyone.
