Steeped in history this beautifully presented three bedroom farm cottage overlooks an orchard, and has uninterrupted views over the Loughor Estuary. The cottage, an original long house, is over 200 years old, and is situated in approximately 50 acres of working farmland with plenty of walks in every direction where you can explore the unspoilt coastline of North Gower.
Very close by is Marsh House Common - a bird watchers paradise, Weobly Castle which has stunning views over the North Gower marshes and Llandrhidian Village (about two miles away) where there is a hotel offering meals all day, a gastronomic restaurant, a garage with a convenience store and a local pub. Approximately two miles in the other direction is Penclawdd Village where there are further facilities and an excellent supermarket.
Accommodation, ground floor: newly fitted kitchen/diner with electric cooker, fan oven and separate grill, microwave, dishwasher, fridge and patio doors onto the terrace. Door to laundry room with sink, washing machine and freezer. Door off to shower room with WC. From the kitchen is the entrance to the lounge, a thru room with a gas burning stove (currently disconnected), soft seating for six, TV with DVD and free view, and a window seat with lovely views over the estuary. Door to hallway and ground floor: recently furnished and decorated double bedroom. From the hallway there are stairs to the first floor.
First floor: upstairs there are two bedrooms: a double with king size bed and a twin. The family bathroom has a three piece suite. There are low beams throughout this floor.
Outside: the cottage benefits from a mature planted cottage garden. Through the kitchen patio door is an enclosed terrace with garden furniture and a barbecue.
Sleeps 6 in three bedrooms: a twin, a double and a king size.
