Sandy Lane should appeal to lovers of bohemian, alternative life styles. It is an eclectic mix of bungalows and wooden chalets, some Scandinavian in style and many painted in bright, vibrant colours. Generally eco friendly, it is popular with those visitors and residents who are aware of their responsibilities to the planet.
Artists, poets and musicians exist quietly and harmoniously side by side in a leafy, wooded enclave of Pennard which backs on to Pennard Golf Course and has one of the best walks to Three Cliffs in all of Gower.
Access to the property is via an unmade track with some large pot holes that may not be suitable for all vehicles.
A Swedish timber, two bedroom holiday chalet. Triple glazed and designed to be eco friendly, a feature of the property is the underfloor heating system, which is moderated by the climate and fuelled by underground heat pumps. This property is set in a prime location in Pennard, Gower, adjacent to the golf course and only a short walk from Pennard Castle which overlooks Three Cliffs Bay.
Access to the property is via a bridle way and therefore unsuitable for some vehicles.
Accommodation: The living accommodation is open plan. The lounge and dining area is furnished with two sofas, a dining table, a TV and a wood-burning stove. The fitted kitchen area is well equipped and has a ceramic hob, built in oven and extractor fan, microwave, integrated fridge, freezer and washing machine.
There are two double bedrooms. The bathroom has a three piece suite with shower over bath.
Sleeps 4 in 2 Double Bedrooms. Duvets.
C/O day - Sat. Underfloor electric heating & wood-burning stove. No bed linen (Duvets and pillows only). Bed linen and towels can be hired for an extra charge. Parking available. Pets welcome. No smoking.
