Del Mar is a beautifully appointed five bedroom family house in an elevated position with stunning views over Langland Bay from all floors. The house features a large and airy open plan kitchen/dining and family room with French windows opening directly onto a spacious terrace where you can enjoy the magnificent views.
Rotherslade Bay is only a few minutes walk downhill where you can sit on the promenade enjoying a cappuccino, explore the rock pools below or take a stroll onto Langland Beach. With golf, tennis, surfing, swimming, and building sandcastles all within minutes there's something for everyone. The popular Langlands Brasserie and the beachside cafes offer a range of food from tasty organic snacks to mouth watering restaurant cuisine. Mumbles is two minutes by car or a choice of ten to thirty minutes walking depending on whether you stroll through the park or take the coastal path towards the lighthouse.
Accommodation: The front door opens into a large porch with hanging space. The hallway is light and airy with doors off to the family room and sitting room and a feature stairwell to the first floor. There is also a downstairs cloakroom. The kitchen/dining area, which is open plan with an island and bar stools, has a well equipped kitchen with integrated appliances including an electric double oven, a five ring gas hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave and storage. From the kitchen there is a door off to the utility room which has a sink, large capacity washing machine, dryer, an additional freezer and access to the garden. The family area has a three seater sofa and a dining table which will comfortably seat up to ten people. French windows lead directly onto a large terrace which has a BBQ, patio furniture for up to 10 people and stunning views over Langland Bay.
The sitting room has a feature fireplace with gas coal effect fire, two three seater sofas, other occasional furniture, a TV with Freesat, an i player, and a DVD.
First floor: on the first floor there are three bedrooms with further sea views: two of the bedrooms have king size beds and the third bedroom has a zip and link bed which has the option of zipping together as a superking or divided as a twin. The family bathroom has a power shower over the bath, WC and wash hand basin.
Second floor: there are two bedrooms on the second floor, the master bedroom which has even better sea views is furnished with a king size bed and has an en suite shower room with wash hand basin and WC. The single bedroom has an additional single pullout bed (with legs) so that this bedroom can also be presented as a twin room.
Outside. The driveway is on steep slope and has parking for up to three cars. To the rear of the house is a large garden which is terraced and mainly laid to lawn.
